Bio profile:
Anja is a research associate at the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb with 15 years of experience in research using bioinformatics, data science and machine learning in the field of genomics.
She obtained her doctorate at the University College London, followed by postdoctoral training at Imperial College London. In addition to leading the bioinformatics research group at the IRB, Anja is coordinating the AI4Health.Cro project, the Croatian European Digital Innovation Center that focuses on the digital transformation of the health system in Croatia and beyond, by introducing innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence.
